Grand Valley State’s Women Reclaim Top Post in D-II; ACU Men Still Hold Lead
NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announces the association’s week three National Team Computer Rankings for the 2011 outdoor track & field season in NCAA Division II. Grand Valley State’s women moved back to their preseason post at No. 1 after gaining an abundance of top-notch marks in distance events at the past weekend’s Mt. SAC Relays. Abilene Christian’s men again keep the nation’s top spot, but Saint Augustine’s is on the move, jumping from No. 5 to No. 3 in this week’s release.
This week’s rankings will also be the last of the outdoor season in which marks from prior to the season (excluding combined events) are used in calculating national team rankings.
