Future Sites Of NCAA DI Outdoor Championships Announced
Four future sites for the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships were announced Thursday by the NCAA.
The 2019 and 2020 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be hosted by the University of Texas at Austin inside Mike A. Myers Stadium, while the 2021 and 2022 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be hosted by the University of Oregon at the newly-reconstructed Hayward Field.

The University of Texas last welcomed the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships in 2004. Since then, there have been six NCAA postseason meets held at the 20,000-seat Mike A. Myers Stadium including the NCAA Division I West Preliminary Round in 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2017.
The University of Oregon served as host for each of the past five NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships dating back to 2013 and this year marks the sixth in a row.
Following the conclusion of the 2018 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships on June 9, construction will begin on the new Hayward Field which will reportedly have a permanent capacity of 12,900.
