So far that’s 24 athletes from 16 programs in nine conferences. All told, those athletes account for 37 individual entries.

Plus, you’ll get to hear from nine members of the Post-Conference Championships Watch List for The Bowerman: Benjamin, Ellis, Holloway, Hobbs, Irby, Norman, Orji, Schweizer and Thomas. Remember: The Bowerman is collegiate track & field’s highest honor.

You never know what kind of surprises could be in store, either.

As always, the proceedings will be hosted by Jordan Kent and Paul Swangard.

Kent, a former three-sport standout for the Oregon Ducks, was a 2007 NFL draftee by the Seattle Seahawks and was a four-time USTFCCCA All-American on the track. He has six years of studio broadcasting experience and currently serves as the television studio host for the Portland Trail Blazers and CSNNW and was the on-field emcee for the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships and the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials-Track & Field.

Swangard has been the lead public address announcer at Historic Hayward Field for more than two decades, providing in-stadium commentary for the University of Oregon home meets and previous NCAA Championships. Back in 2016, Swangard completed an announcing “Triple Crown” as he called the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships, the IAAF U20 Championships in addition to the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
