Athletics communications representatives at schools and conferences who have committed to excellent coverage and support of collegiate track & field and cross country are eligible to be nominated for the award in recognition of their service to the sport by coaches, other athletics communications representatives, media members and the general public. The efforts of these hard-working individuals around the nation are crucial in generating interest and exposure for the sports of collegiate track & field and cross country, and the USTFCCCA will honor three – one per NCAA Division and one representing the NAIA – after both the track & field and cross country seasons.
