

2019 NCAA DIII Indoor Track & Field All-Region
NEW ORLEANS – All-Region honorees for the 2019 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field season were announced on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
A total of 1590 All-Region honors were handed out to 192 different member institutions. There was a near-even split between the genders as women combined for 804 of the honors, compared to 786 for the men.
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region’s top-3 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Atlantic, Central, Great Lakes, Mideast, Midwest, New England, South/Southeast and West – match those used during the cross country season.
No program had more combined All-Region honorees than George Fox with 42. Two other programs had more than 40 All-Region selections: Emory (41) and Wartburg (41).
The Northwest Conference had the most All-Region performers with 125, while the UAA, OAC and American Rivers Conference weren’t too far behind with 120, 119 and 199, respectively.
Chase Hampton of Otterbein and Elizabeth Prevedello of La Verne of were the most honored athletes as they brought home five All-Region honors each. Hampton excelled in the 800, mile, 3000, 5000 and as part of the DMR, while Prevedello starred in the pentathlon, long jump, high jump, 60 hurdles and DMR.
