The top-3 teams of the Men’s National Rating Index remained the same from Week 6: No. 1 British Columbia, No. 2 Wayland Baptist (Texas) and No. 3 Indiana Tech. This is the fourth week in a row that this has been the order and the fifth time this season that those three teams have held the top-3 spots (The order was reversed back in Week 2).
William Carey (Miss.) jumped two spots from No. 6 to No. 4 and continues to step in and out of the door of the top-5. The Crusaders received top-10 national marks this past weekend from Dante Brown in the 200 (No. 5, 21.11) and Shakim Buckley in the 400 (No. 8, 52.86).
Further down, two teams climbed five spots between Week 6 and Week 7: Indiana Wesleyan and Southern-New Orleans (La.). The Wildcats, now rated eighth nationally, were buoyed by Scott Rathbun, who is now ranked third nationally in the pole vault. The Knights went from No. 14 to No. 9 after their 4×400 relay team turned in the second fastest time of the NAIA season so far at 3:06.95.
There weren’t any additions to the top-25 this week, but Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) moved up four spots from No. 19 to No. 15 and Hastings (Neb.) rose from No. 24 to No. 19.

If you’re looking for changes, don’t look to the top-5 of the Women’s National Rating Index.
British Columbia, Southern-New Orleans (La.), Concordia (Neb.), Wayland Baptist (Texas) and Doane (Neb.) all held firm in spots No. 1 through No. 5. This is the fourth week in a row that these five teams have been ranked in some order in the top-5.
The first big change came in at No. 6, where Hastings (Neb.) had climbed three spots. The Broncos added four top-10 national marks to their ledger this past weekend with the strongest one coming from Daisy Maessner, who is now ranked fifth in the long jump.
Taylor (Ind.) continued to rise through the TFRI. The Trojans are now ranked 16th after being rated as low as 47th in Week 4. Olivia Schroder gave Taylor (Ind.) the biggest boost as she is now ranked fourth nationally in the 10,000, an event she’ll likely contest at the NAIA Championships.
There was one new addition to the top-25: Southern Oregon soared seven spots from No. 31 to No. 24. Joanna Galli propelled the Raiders to new heights as she is now ranked 10th nationally in the pole vault after this past weekend.
