Harper (Ill.) is favored to win its first outdoor national title since 2012. The Hawks own 14 marks that are ranked in the top-5 nationally, including 10 in the top-3. Sean Sanaghan should be a major contributor for Harper (Ill.) as he is ranked No. 2 in the 1500, No. 3 in the 800 and is likely to compete as a member of the second-ranked 4×800 relay team.
Triton (Ill.) was ranked No. 1 earlier in the season and has kept pace with the Hawks since falling to No. 2. The Trojans are hoping for big marks this weekend from Keenon Davis and Colton Weber in the field as well as Demariye Carpenter on the track. Davis and Weber are ranked No. 1 in the triple jump and pole vault, respectively, while Carpenter comes in at No. 2 in both the 100 and 200.
Suffolk County (N.Y.) jumped two spots between Week 5 and Week 6 and can thank its 4×800 relay team. The Sharks got the baton around in 7:56.53, which is the nation’s top time going into the championships. That now gives Suffolk County (N.Y.) three national leaders in addition to a quartet of national runner-up spots. Jonathan Gonzalez is expected to score a bunch of points for the Sharks in the 800, 1500 and 5000.
Hudson Valley (N.Y.) and defending champion Rowan-Gloucester (N.J.) are No. 4 and No. 5 in the final National Rating Index of the season.

Suffolk County (N.Y.) is favored to win its first outdoor national title since 2016. The Sharks have 17 marks that are ranked in the top-5 nationally, including a pair of national leaders from Erica Martinez in the heptathlon and Nikianne Otto in the pole vault. Suffolk County (N.Y.) has two relays teams that are billed No. 2 nationally to go along with two individuals in that spot (Nigeria Jones in the long jump and Allaura Dashnaw in the steeplechase).
Harper (Ill.) is ranked second in the final National Rating Index of the season. The Hawks hauled in 16 top-5 marks, which include four No. 1 hits by the likes of Misbah Baig (1500), Maddie Bobinski (javelin), Rachael Temple (5000) and the 4×800 relay team. Baig, Temple and Taylor Kreiss are expected to score big points for Harper (Ill.) in the mid-distance and distance events.
Rowan-Gloucester (N.J.) will rely heavily upon its field athletes in New York. Elisia Lancaster and Emily Hilt are a force for the Roadrunners. Lancaster is ranked No. 1 in both the discus and hammer throw and No. 2 in the shot put, while Hilt is ranked No. 1 in the shot put, No. 2 in the hammer throw and No. 3 in the discus.
Defending champion Kingsborough (N.Y.) is ranked fourth, while Herkimer County (N.Y.) is billed fifth to end the season.
