Suffolk (N.Y.) CC jumped two spots to No. 2 thanks to what it did at the James Early Invitational this past weekend. The Sharks, led by National Athlete of the Week Luis Antonio Fernandez, finished 15th out of 28 teams and their runners averaged 28:55 for the 8K distance.
Harper College dropped one spot from No. 2 to No. 3, not due to a lack of effort. The Hawks placed fifth as a team at the Benedictine University Eagle Invitational this past weekend and their runners averaged 29:12 for the 8K distance with two in the top-15 individually.
