

2019 NAIA Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Athletes
The Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year and All-Academic Individuals for the 2019 NAIA Cross Country season were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Hannah Stoffel of Huntington (Ind.) was named the Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for the 2019 NAIA Cross Country season. Hannan, a junior with a 3.948 GPA in exercise science, won the individual title at the 2019 NAIA Cross Country Championships in Vancouver, Washington, this past November. She became Huntington’s first-ever NAIA female champion in any sport and lost only one race all year, an early-season contest.
Overall, there were 160 women who were named All-Academic Individuals in NAIA.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and qualify for the national championship meet.
