

2023 NAIA Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Athletes
NEW ORLEANS – The Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year and All-Academic Athletes for the 2023 NAIA Cross Country season were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Addy Wiley of Huntington (Ind.) was named the Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for the 2023 NAIA Cross Country season. Wiley, who hails from Huntington, Indiana, and majors in history-political science, won the individual title at the 2023 NAIA Cross Country Championships in Vancouver, Washington. This is the third time in the past five years that an athlete from Huntington (Ind.) has been named Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for the cross country season. Wiley joins Hannah Stoffel (2019) and Emma Wilson (2020) in that regard.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and qualify for the national championship meet.
