

2024 NAIA Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Athletes
NEW ORLEANS – The Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year and All-Academic Athletes for the 2024 NAIA Cross Country season were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Jaynie Halterman of Taylor (Ind.) was named the 2024 NAIA Women’s Cross Country Scholar Athlete of the Year. Halterman, who hails from Thompson’s Station, Tennessee, and owns a cumulative GPA of 3.98, won the individual title at the 2024 NAIA Cross Country Championships in Columbia, Missouri. This is the first time in program history that an athlete from Taylor (Ind.) has been named Women’s Cross Country Scholar Athlete of the Year.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and qualify for the national championship meet.
