St. Francis (Ill.) continues in its perch at No. 1. The Saints’ top runners rested last week, explaining St. Francis’ third-place finish at the Bethel Invitational just a week after being the top NAIA program at the Live in Lou Classic.
Milligan (Tenn.) stays at No. 2, hot off a strong runner-up finish at the Royals Challenge on the same course where the Buffs won the Queen City Invitational two weeks earlier. Milligan’s Lemi Wutz earned NAIA Athlete of the week honors with a 4th-place finish.
Remaining in the No. 3 and No. 4 spots are Cornerstone (Mich.) and Taylor (Ind.), respectively. Both squads took a week off from racing after being the second- and third-best teams at Live in Lou Classic.
Saint Mary (Kan.) maintains the No. 5 position after a runner-up finish in the Fort Hays State Tiger Open’s Gold race.
Completing the top-10 are No. 6 The Master’s (Calif.), No. 7 Aquinas (Mich.), No. 8 Montreat (N.C.), No. 9 College of Idaho and No. 10 Southern Oregon.
