Cross Country Polls & Rankings

St. Francis (Ill.) displayed why it remained a solid No. 1. The Saints were the highest-finishing NAIA team at the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic this past weekend. The meet was a magnet for top-ranked programs, fielding four of the then-top-5 ranked teams.

Milligan (Tenn.) maintained the No. 2 spot, even earning a first-place vote. The Buffs shined two weeks ago in winning the Queen City Invitational over a solid field that included host Queens (N.C.), now ranked No. 8 in NCAA Division II.

Holding steady at Nos. 3 and 4 are Cornerstone (Mich.) and Taylor (Ind.), respectively. The Golden Eagles and Trojans were the second- and third-best teams at Live in Lou Cross Country Classic.

Saint Mary (Kan.) moves up one spot to No. 5. The Spires were impressive in winning the Gans Creek Classic on two weeks ago, placing three runners among the top-7.

Rounding out the top-10 are No. 6 The Master’s (Calif.), No. 7 Aquinas (Mich.), No. 8 Montreat (N.C.), No. 9 College of Idaho and No. 10 Southern Oregon.
