2021 NAIA Men’s Cross Country All-Academic Teams

NEW ORLEANS – The Men’s Scholar Team of the Year and All-Academic Teams for the 2021 NAIA Cross Country season were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Milligan (Tenn.) was named the Men’s Scholar Team of the Year for the 2021 NAIA Cross Country season. The Buffs, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.400, won the team title at the 2021 NAIA Cross Country Championships in Vancouver, Washington. This is the first time in program history that Milligan has been named the Men’s Scholar Team of the Year in cross country, indoor track & field and/or outdoor track & field.

Overall, there were 27 programs who were named All-Academic Athletes for their efforts during the 2021 season. No team posted a better cumulative GPA than Taylor (Ind.) at 3.66.

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
