Mark your calendar for June 7-10, because that’s when the 2023 NCAA DI Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas.
NOTES: Texas is the odds-on favorite to win its fifth outdoor title in program history. The Longhorns, who finished runner-up last year, last topped the podium in 2005. Texas could be the first team to win on its home track since Oregon in 2017 … Defending champion Florida has an outside shot at repeating this year, according to the National TFRI. If not – and the Gators end up on the podium – it would be the sixth time in program history … Arkansas has fond memories of Austin, because the last time the meet was held at Mike A. Myers Stadium, it won the national title … Oregon isn’t a stranger to the podium, having found its way on there 14 times in program history … Southern California has three national titles to its credit, along with 11 top-4 finishes.
