Numerous changes were seen in the most recent installment of the NCAA DIII Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Rating Index for the 2023 season, as released on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). No marks from previous seasons are being used in this objective calculation.

Of that quintet, both the Sagehens and the Blugolds have national-leading marks: Colin Kirkpatrick in the steeplechase for the former at 8:44.21; Yakob Ukoue in the shot put at 18.07m (59-3½) and Mitch Stegeman in the decathlon at 6932 points for the latter.
