

2024 NCAA Division II Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Athletes
NEW ORLEANS – The Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year and All-Academic Athletes for the 2024 NCAA Division II Cross Country season were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Lauren Kiley of Grand Valley State was named the 2024 NCAA Division II Women’s Cross Country Scholar Athlete of the Year. Kiley, who hails from Canton, Michigan, and owns a cumulative GPA of 3.317, won the individual title at the 2024 NCAA DII Cross Country Championships in Sacramento, California. This is the sixth time in program history that an athlete from Grand Valley State has been named Women’s Cross Country Scholar Athlete of the Year. Kiley joins 2021 honoree Hannah Becker, 2018 honoree Sarah Berger, 2015 and 2016 honoree Kendra Foley and 2014 honoree Jessica Janecke in that regard.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-30 percent of their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.
