Cross Country Polls & Rankings

No. 1 Lansing (Mich.) CC remains near-unanimous at the top. The Stars were the top two-year program as runner-up in their own Lansing Invitational as Nate Carmody continued to lead the way with runner-up individual honors. Last week Lansing won the Michigan CCAA Western Conference Championships team title while resting most of its top runners.

Paradise Valley (Ariz.) CC remains No. 2, even improving its count of first-place votes from two to three even though the Pumas haven’t competed since the last poll.

No. 3 Wallace State-Hanceville (Ala.) CC was the top JUCO squad at the Firehawk Invitational and last week’s Twilight at John Hunt, with Tyler Anthony leading the Lions both times.

Mesa (Ariz.) CC continues at No. 4. The Thunderbirds were led by Cal Schnepf for the third meet in a row, this time at Arizona’s Dave Murray Invitational.

Joining the top-5 for the first time this year is Daytona State (Fla.). The Falcons were the top JUCO team in Florida State’s Seminole Invite, with Caden Baker regaining team honors over Jeffrey Belizaire.

Completing the top-10 teams are No. 6 Heartland (Ill.) CC, No. 7 Cowley (Kan.), No. 8 Southeastern (Iowa) CC, No. 9 Des Moines Area (Iowa) CC and No. 10 Macomb (Mich.) CC.
