Jones, in his eighth year at Loras, was named the National Women’s Coach of the Year. He led the Duhawks to a dramatic victory at the 2021 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships with 58 points. Loras scored in nine events at the NCAA Championships, which included an event title in the 4×100 relay and runner-up efforts in the 100, 400, 10,000 and 4×400 relay. Earlier in the season, Jones guided the Duhawks to the team title at the American Rivers Conference Outdoor Championships as they scored 247.50 points and notched 10 event titles in the process.
