Tim McCrossen, St. Lawrence University: NCAA DIII Athlete Hall of Fame, Class of 2015

A 1988 graduate of St. Lawrence, McCrossen was a 2-time NCAA Champion and 12-time All-American. McCrossen won the indoor 400m title in 1987 (48.32). A sprinter who held 12 St. Lawrence records between indoor and outdoor track, he still holds seven individual records and is part of three standing relay records. His dominance of the sprints helped the Saints win three indoor state titles, two outdoor state championships and finish second nationally twice and third once from 1985-88. He was both the ICAC Athlete of the Year and the Most Outstanding Runner Award winner in the state meet in both 1987 and 1988. He also won the 200 meters in the Finland vs. Norway national games in 1987. McCrossen was a member of the US Olympic Bobsled team in 1994 and competed in Lillihammer, Norway.
