Wes Miller, South Plains (Texas): 2022 NJCAA Division I Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Assistant Coach of the Year

Wes Miller was named the National Men’s Assistant Coach of the Year for the 2022 NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field season. Miller, in his third year as assistant coach at South Plains (Texas), saw his athletes leave their mark all over the record book, as well as the NJCAA DI Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Hutchinson, Kansas. Among a litany of feats, he coached athletes to an NJCAA record in the 400-meter hurdles (Chris Robinson), the No. 2 performer in NJCAA history in the 800 meters (Kimar Farquharson) and the No. 2 all-time foursome in the 4×800 relay.
