Saint Aug’s, Adams State in Virtual Tie Atop Men’s Division II Rankings
NEW ORLEANS – The men of Saint Augustine’s and Adams State have locked themselves into a virtual tie atop the NCAA Division II National Team Rankings as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday. Saint Augustine’s (209.75) reclamed the top spot but by a small fraction of a ranking point ahead of No. 2 Adams State (209.54). The women of Angelo State (268.53) continue to lead the women’s rankings and are again followed by Lincoln (Mo.) (227.24).

Rankings this week were compiled with all final data from the 2010 outdoor season as reported to the Track & Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS). Next week’s rankings will be compiled using only data from those who declared and were accepted into the NCAA Outdoor Championships. The NCAA Division II Championships will take place May 27-29, in Charlotte, N.C.
