2018 NJCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field National Rankings – Week 4
NEW ORLEANS – With just two weekends separating now and the NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, the National Team Rankings seem to have hit a standstill, as the top-four teams on both sides of the rankings remained in place from a week ago, announced the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Wednesday.
The men’s program at Triton (Ill.) was the lone team to make any noise in the top-five on the week, as the Trojans moved back to fifth after sliding to seventh a week ago. Outside of that though, the rankings were relatively stagnant.

The NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships will be held on May 10-12 in Utica, New York.
Men’s Story
Rowan-Gloucester (N.J.) CC stayed in first on the week thanks to 10 top-10 NJCAA Division III Descending Order List marks hit at the Widener Invitational. The Roadrunners were led by Andrew Burkhardt (javelin) and Mike Dowd (steeplechase), as both set the top mark in NJCAA Division III in their respective events on the season.
Kingsborough (N.Y.) CC is hot on the heels of the Roadrunners, though, as it sits in second once again. Following the Wave in the rankings were Suffolk County (N.Y.) CC and Harper (Ill.).
Triton (Ill.) had a big weekend at the Cougar Invitational, allowing it to move back into fifth place. The team notched eight top-10 NJCAA Division III Descending Order List marks at the meet, including Demariye Carpenter’s 100 and 200 times that both sit third in NJCAA Division III this year.
Women’s Story
The top-eight teams on the women’s side went unchanged from a week ago.
Rowan-Gloucester (N.J.) CC remains the team to beat after posting eight top-10 NJCAA Division III Descending Order List marks at the Widener Invitational. Elisia Lancaster continued her outstanding freshman campaign with the top hammer throw mark in all of NJCAA Division III this season.
Despite a week off from action, Kingsborough (N.Y.) CC came in at second for the third-consecutive week.
Rounding out the top-five was Harper (Ill.), Suffolk County (N.Y.) CC and Middlesex (N.J.) CC. Harper (Ill.) has sat in third for three-straight weeks, while the latter two teams in the top-five found themselves in the same spots they sat a week ago.
