

2020 NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll – Week 2
There were a few changes to the most recent NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll that was released on Thursday by the NAIA National Office.
All of the teams that were in the top-10 in Week 1 remained in place following Conference Championships Weekend, while four new teams joined the fray in the rest of the top-25.

Taylor (Ind.) is the unanimous No. 1 following a championship effort at the Crossroads League Championships three weeks ago. The top-ranked Trojans held off a strong challenge from No. 3 Huntington (Ind.), as they won by three points. Taylor (Ind.) used a true team effort with all five of its scoring athletes in the top-15 (No other program could claim that feat).
St. Francis (Ill.) remained No. 2 after dominating the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships. The Saints put six runners in the top-10 with their entire scoring lineup in the top-7 as they totaled 19 points to beat Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) by 49.
The aforementioned Foresters held steady at No. 3. Emma Wilson and Hannah Stoffel went 1-2 for Huntington (Ind.) at the Crossroads League Championships, while teammate Sydney Lambert joined them in the top-10 in seventh place.
AAC champion Milligan (Tenn.) is now fourth. GPAC champion Dordt (Iowa) is fifth.
Here are the new additions to the National Coaches’ Poll in Week 2: No. 11 College of Idaho, No. 20 Oregon Tech, No. 23 Northwestern (Iowa) and No. 24 Westmont (Calif.).
