The NAIA National Office announced its 2020 Men’s Cross Country Coaches’ Preseason Top-25 Poll on Thursday morning.

Taylor (Ind.) tops the index for the first time in program history. The Trojans, who have been ranked in the top-25 for 49 consecutive weeks, earned eight of 21 possible first-place votes.
Defending national champion Oklahoma City comes into the season ranked No. 2, 17 points back of Taylor (Ind.) despite earning two more first-place votes (10).
Lewis-Clark State (Idaho), last year’s third-place team, begins the season in the same spot. The Warriors hauled in two first-place votes of their own and sit just one point behind OCU.
The lone remaining first-place vote went to Saint Mary (Kan.), which is ranked fourth. Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) rounds out the top-5 at No. 5.
