Here is the newest edition of the NCAA Division III Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Rating Index, as released on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). No marks from previous seasons are being used, so this is a true, comprehensive look at the current season and only what has happened this indoor season.

If you’re looking for big changes among the top-4 teams, you’re in the wrong place. No. 1 Loras, No. 2 UW-La Crosse, No. 3 Johns Hopkins and No. 4 Washington (Mo.) all held steady for the second week in a row.
The Duhawks actually strengthened their hold on the top spot thanks to a trio of top-10 efforts this past weekend: Marion Edwards is now eighth nationally in the 60 meters at 7.71; Elayna Bahl is now eighth nationally in the 60-meter hurdles at 8.81; the distance medley relay improved its billing to fourth nationally with an 11:53.66 effort.
Ithaca jumped two spots from No. 7 to No. 5 in Week 5. Tia Jones carried the Bombers this past weekend with her chart-topping effort in the 60 of 7.59 as well as her now second-ranked mark in the 200 of 25.11. Charly Susser cracked the national top-10 in the high jump at 1.68m (5-6).
Here are the rest of the top-10 teams in Week 5: No. 6 Wartburg, No. 7 UChicago, No. 8 Nebraska Wesleyan, No. 9 Dubuque and No. 10 SUNY Geneseo. Both the Prairie Wolves and the Spartans jumped four spots between Week 4 and Week 5.
Mark your calendars for March 11-12, as that’s when the 2022 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
