

2022 NCAA Division I Cross Country All-Region
NEW ORLEANS – All-Region honorees for the 2022 NCAA Division I Cross Country season were recognized on Sunday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following Regional Championships Friday.
A total of 225 men from 94 different programs and 225 women from 102 different programs earned All-Region distinction by virtue of a top-25 finish at one of the nine regional sites this past weekend. Only athletes from USTFCCCA member institutions are eligible for awards.
Only one program in the nation had all seven athletes earn All-Region honors: NC State’s women. The Wolfpack ran away with the team title at the Southeast Region Championships, as their entire top-7 finished in the top-25. NC State won the regional crown with a score of 25 points and will look to defend their national title next Saturday.
Eleven different programs had six athletes named All-Region: Great Lakes champion Wisconsin, Mid-Atlantic Region champion Villanova, South champion Tennessee, West champion Stanford, Great Lakes runner-up Notre Dame and Midwest runner-up Oklahoma State on the men’s side; Great Lakes champion Notre Dame, Mid-Atlantic champion Georgetown, Midwest champion Oklahoma State, South Central champion Arkansas and West champion Stanford for the women.
