2023 NCAA Division I Cross Country All-Region
NEW ORLEANS – All-Region honorees for the 2023 NCAA Division I Cross Country season were recognized on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following Regional Championships Friday.
A total of 225 men from 89 different programs and 225 women from 99 different programs earned the distinction of All-Region by virtue of a top-25 finish at one of the nine regional sites this past weekend. Only athletes from USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.
Only four programs had all seven athletes earn All-Region honors: Mountain Region champion Northern Arizona and Mid-Atlantic Region champion Princeton on the men’s side; South Central Region champion Arkansas and Midwest Region champion Oklahoma State for the women.
On the conference level, the ACC led the way with a combined 61 honored athletes. The Big 12 wasn’t too far behind with 53, while the SEC was third with 48. Three other conferences earned 30 or more: Big Ten (39), Big East (31) and Ivy League (31).
Many of these athletes will compete at the 2023 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships, which are set for Saturday, November 18, at Panorama Farms in Earlysville, Virginia.
