

2022 NCAA Division II Men’s Cross Country All-Academic Teams
NEW ORLEANS – The Men’s Scholar Team of the Year and All-Academic Teams for the 2022 NCAA Division II Cross Country season were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Colorado School of Mines was named the Men’s Scholar Team of the Year for the 2022 NCAA Division II Cross Country season. The Orediggers, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0, won the team title at the 2022 NCAA DII Cross Country Championships in University Place, Washington. This is the fourth time in program history that Colorado School of Mines has been named the Men’s Scholar Team of the Year during the cross country season, adding to their haul from 2015, 2018 and 2019.
Overall, there were 122 different programs who were named All-Academic Teams for their efforts during the 2022 season. No team posted a better cumulative GPA than Florida Southern.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period and compile a team score at their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.
