

2023 NCAA DII Men’s Indoor Track & Field Rating Index – Week 2
NEW ORLEANS – Business is picking up.
Here is the second release of the NCAA Division II Men’s Indoor Track & Field National TFRI, as released on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). No marks from previous seasons have been used, which means this objective list is compiled solely of current qualifying marks from the 2023 indoor track & field season.

Pittsburg State held steady at No. 1 for a second consecutive week. The Gorillas added six new or improved national top-10 marks at the Wendy’s/Pittsburg State Invitational. The duo of TJ Caldwell and Daylin Williams hold the top-2 times in the 60-meter hurdles: Caldwell is the national leader at 7.74; Williams is ranked second at 7.77. The Gorillas also clocked 3:12.03 in the 4×400 relay to take over the national lead.
Adams State stayed at No. 2 and picked up three new or improved national top-10 marks at the Wes Lavong Open. No one was better than Papay Glaywulu, who exploded to a new NCAA Division II record of 16.61m (54-6) in the triple jump and taking down a near 26-year-old record.
West Texas A&M and UC-Colorado Springs traded spots in Week 2, as the former is No. 3 and the latter is now No. 4. The Buffs saw two new or improved national top-10 performances: Joseph Manu moved up to fifth in the 60 meters (6.71c); Hamdi Alamin is ranked second in the high jump at 2.20m (7-2½). The Mountain Lions were paced by Peterson Bohannon in the long jump. Bohannon climbed up the leaderboard to sixth in the long jump after registering a mark of 7.47m (24-6¼).
Grand Valley State remained at No. 5 to round out this week’s top-5.
Here are the rest of the top-10 teams in Week 2: No. 6 CSU Pueblo, No. 7 Missouri Southern, No. 8 Mississippi College, No. 9 Fort Hays State and No. 10 Tiffin.
