2025 NCAA DI Men’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll – Week 3
NEW ORLEANS – Here is the newest edition of the NCAA DI Men’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll, as released on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The top-11 remained unchanged from the previous week, but the same couldn’t be said for the rest of the top-30, as all but two teams held their spots.

Cross Country Polls & Rankings
No. 7 Wisconsin and No. 9 Notre Dame were the only top-ten teams to race this past weekend. Both the Badgers and the Irish posted convincing victories – the former at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational and the latter at their own Joe Piane Invitational. (Look for considerably more action next weekend, as nine of the top-ten teams will compete at either the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational or the Pre-National Invitational.)
Elsewhere in the National Coaches’ Poll, marked improvement befell Paul Short Run champion Georgetown, Boise State, and Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational runner-up Loyola-Chicago. The Hoyas jumped four spots from No. 28 to No. 24, the Broncos joined the top 30 for the first time since 2023 at No. 29, and the Ramblers are ranked for the first time in program history at No. 30.
Don’t look now, but the 2025 NCAA DI Cross Country Championships are next month. The nation’s best teams will descend upon the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Missouri, on Saturday, November 22.
