

2025 NJCAA DII Men’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll – Week 3
NEW ORLEANS – No. 1 got even stronger amid change everywhere else in the top-10 in the Week 3 edition of the 2025 NJCAA Division II Men’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll, which was released Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The 2025 NJCAA Division II Cross Country Championships are set to take place at Lakeside Golf Course in Fort Dodge, Iowa, on Saturday, November 8.

Cross Country Polls & Rankings
Season-long No. 1 Lansing (Mich.) CC regained the unanimous status it last had in the preseason poll. After Nate Carmody earned team honors to lead the Stars as the top JUCO team in the Gold race at the Louisville Classic, Evan Suydam was Lansing’s top runner as Lansing earned state bragging rights in beating NCAA DII Grand Valley State on a tiebreaker at the Muskegon Jayhawk Invitational.
Wallace State-Hanceville (Ala.) CC rose up a spot to No. 2 in matching its program high from Week 1 of last year. Tyler Anthony was the top JUCO athlete as the Lions were the top NJCAA squad in the Gold division of the Royals Challenge.
Climbing six places to No. 3 is Des Moines Area (Iowa) CC. Eli Page was runner-up as the top NJCAA DII runner at the Indian Hills Invitational as the Bears had four in the top-10 to win the team title.
Paradise Valley (Ariz.) CC dropped two places to No. 4 despite a strong showing in the McDonnell Memorial race at the Chile Pepper Festival loaded with athletes from four-year programs, not to mention two top-10-ranked NJCAA DI teams. Brady Eagar’s 77th-place finish as the top DII JUCO athlete earned him M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week honors.
No. 5 Cowley (Kan.) moved up two places after the Fort Hays State Tiger Open, where Esteban Boisseau earned M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this year as the Tigers were the top NJCAA DII team in a field loaded with four-year and NJCAA DI programs.
Rounding out the top-10 teams are No. 6 Mesa (Ariz.) CC, No. 7 Daytona State (Fla.), No. 8 Heartland (Ill.) CC, No. 9 Jacksonville (Texas) and No. 10 Pasco-Hernando (Fla.).
