KEYNOTE SPEAKER – JIM OBERHOFER

The USTFCCCA is proud to announce that Jim Oberhofer, the Vice President of Operations for Kalitta Motorsports and the author of Top Fuel For Life, will address the membership at this year’s Opening Session as Keynote Speaker.

Oberhofer is the crew chief for the Mac Tools Top Fuel Dragster driven by Doug Kalitta and the Vice President of Operations for Kalitta Motorsports. Oberhofer has been with Kalitta Motorsports for more than three decades. A second-generation drag racing enthusiast, Oberhofer got his first job in the sport in 1983 when he started cleaning parts for Kalitta Motorsports, which led him to being to where he is today.

After his wife, Tammy, was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cancer, Oberhofer wrote Top Fuel For Life to help others find the happiness he discovered after a lifetime of mistakes. The book was born from the simple fact that he didn’t want others to wait for tragedy to find clarity. Mournful of his mistakes, humorous in his storytelling, and always brutally honest, Top Fuel For Life is one man’s story that reveals the truth about the most important race of all; the race of life.
