Joliet (Ill.) JC holds down the top spot for the second week in a row and most recently competed at the Tiger Cross Country Invitational two weeks ago. The Wolves, led by two-time National Athlete of the Week Tiffany Lehmann, are expected to race again this weekend at the Heartland Invitational, hosted by Heartland (Ill.) CC.
No. 2 Westmoreland County (Pa.) CC and No. 4 Lorain County (Ohio) CC waged an epic battle at the Black Bear Invitational this past weekend. The second-ranked Wolfpack earned a slim 27-28 victory over the fourth-ranked Commodores. National Athlete of the Week Brooke Bertovich played a huge role, taking home the individual title for WCCC. You can’t discount what LCCC did, sending the next three runners across the finish line.
Georgia Military College rounds out the top-4 at No. 4.
