2020 NJCAA DIII Women’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Ranking – Week 3

NEW ORLEANS – Nothing changed to the NJCAA Division III Women’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Ranking between Week 2 and Week 3.

The top-4 teams all remained the same with No. 1 Joliet (Ill.) JC leading the way, followed by No. 2 Westmoreland County (Pa.) CC, No. 3 Lorain County (Ohio) CC and No. 4 Georgia Military College.

Four-time National Athlete of the Week Tiffany Lehmann has paced Joliet (Ill.) JC all year, especially this past weekend at the Topper Town Invitational. Lehmann posted her first career cross country win and led the Wolves to a fourth-place finish as a team behind several NJCAA Division II programs. Yesenia Suarez also finished in the top-10 for JJC this past weekend.

Westmoreland County (Pa.) CC made quick work of the Lynx Invitational a few weeks ago. The Wolfpack sent the first four runners across the finish line as they ran away with the team title. Westmoreland is back in action next weekend for the NJCAA Region XX Championships.

Lorain County (Ohio) CC hasn’t competed since finishing runner-up to Westmoreland at the Penn State Highlands Invitational two weeks ago. The Commodores, led by Mackenzie Glass and Julia Hamilton, will take to the trails once again next weekend at the NJCAA Region XII Championships in Lansing, Michigan.

Results are sparse for Georgia Military College, but as of right now the team is scheduled to compete at the GCAA/NJCAA Region XVII Championships this afternoon at 5:15 pm ET.
