What better time than now to check out the most recent edition of the NAIA Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Rating Index, which was released on Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Top-ranked Doane (Neb.) and second-ranked Indiana Tech held steady in this week’s National TFRI. The Tigers had two season bests that are positioned in the top-3 nationally. Connor Floyd cleared the bar at 5.11m (16-9¾) in the pole vault for the second-best effort seasonally, and the 4×400 clocked 3:13.82 for the third-fastest time. The Warriors top performance of the weekend came in the 4×800 as the quartet clocked 7:40.1 for the third-fastest time on the Descending Order List.
Southeastern (Fla.) jumped two spots to No. 3 to move ahead of No. 4 Huntington (Ind.). The Fire saw Zachary Nichols hit a season best in the hammer (No. 11, 56.87m/186-7). The Foresters were headlined with Dylan Fleger’s 51.86 in the 400H to take over the national lead.
Saint Mary (Kan.) slipped two spots to No. 5. The Spires’ pair of Luke Skinner and Eric Vazquez sit within the top-10 nationally in the 1500. Skinner is ranked fifth at 3:52.79 with Vazquez sitting ninth at 3:53.64.
