

2021 NCAA Division III Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Teams
NEW ORLEANS – The Women’s Scholar Team of the Year and All-Academic Teams for the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country season were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Johns Hopkins was named the Women’s Scholar Team of the Year for the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country season. The Blue Jays, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.630, won the team title at the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships. This is the seventh time in program history that Johns Hopkins has been named Women’s Scholar Team of the Year, all of which have come in the past 10 years. The Blue Jays tied the most honors earned in a single sport in NCAA DIII award history (UW-La Crosse in men’s indoor track & field).
Overall, there were 163 programs who were named All-Academic Athletes for their efforts during the 2021 season. No program posted a better cumulative GPA than Nebraska Wesleyan at 3.9.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
