Cross Country Polls & Rankings
Defending champion Harper (Ill.) fared well in their stiffest meet of the year, finishing 12th as the top JUCO program in the White Race at the Bradley Pink Classic. Individually, Lilly Alberts was runner-up (and top collegian) after four-straight victories. She now has three M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week awards to go along with her three from last year.
There was a swap between No. 2 and No. 3. Moving up is Jefferson (Mo.), in its first year as a program. The Vikings were third at the Greenville Classic, just ahead of previous No. 2 Mineral Area (Mo.) CC, last year’s national runner-up.
Rising three positions to No. 4 is College of DuPage (Ill.). The Chaps impressed as the only other JUCO team besides Harper at the Bradley Pink Classic.
No. 5 is Georgia Military, reaching its highest since being No. 4 in Week 4 of 2021. The Bulldogs last competed as a scoring squad two weeks ago at the Berry Invitational, finishing 11th as the top JUCO program.
Rounding out the top-10 are No. 6 Suffolk County (N.Y.) CC, No. 7 Mohawk Valley (N.Y.) CC, No. 8 RCSJ Gloucester (N.J.), No. 9 FIT (N.Y.) and No. 10 Hudson Valley (N.Y.) CC.
