

2023 NJCAA DIII Men’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Ranking – Week 2
NEW ORLEANS – Harper (Ill.) is back on top of the Week 2 NJCAA Division III Men’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll, released Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Cross Country Polls & Rankings
No. 1 is Harper (Ill.) has competed well in upper competition – fourth in the Heartland Invitational and seventh in the Pioneer Gender Equity Invitational. Both times Harper was the top NJCAA DIII team and both times they were led by Albert Szewczyk, who earned M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week honors a week ago.
Mineral Area (Mo.) CC repeats at No. 2. The Cardinals are led by current M-F Athletic National of the Week Bradley Ahrens, who was last year’s national runner-up.
Rising to No. 3 is Oxford (Ga.) with a second-straight program high. Oliver Campbell – who earned M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week honors earlier this year – led the Eagles to the top NJCAA DIII finishing squad at the Alexander Asics Invitational.
Joliet (Ill.) JC is No. 4. The Wolves were the top NJCAA DIII program at the Heartland Invitational, featuring a third No. 1 runner this season in Alejandro Santos.
Defending national champion College of DuPage (Ill.) is No. 5. Five freshmen ran for the Chaps at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational, led by Addisu Wolski.
Rounding out the top-10 are No. 6 Lorain County (Ohio) CC, No. 7 Hudson Valley (N.Y.) CC, No. 8 RCSJ Gloucester (N.J.), No. 9 Suffolk County (N.Y.) CC, No. 10 Georgia Military.
The season culminates on Saturday, November 11, when the 2023 NJCAA Division III Cross Country Championships will be held at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama.
