Defending champion Harper (Ill.) is still strong, especially with Lilly Alberts leading the way. Alberts is undefeated in four races and is a two-time winner this season of the M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week.
Moving up to No. 2 is Mineral Area (Mo.) CC, last year’s national runner-up by one excruciating point to Harper. The Cardinals are led by Riley Petsch.
Jefferson (Mo.) is No. 3. The Vikings’ roster is dominated by freshmen with Lauren Hartman leading the way thus far.
No. 4 is Hudson Valley (N.Y.) CC, matching their highest-ever ranking. The Vikings were the highest-finishing team at the Fred Pavlich Inviational, with Laurel Ticer leading the squad.
No. 5 is RCSJ Gloucester (N.J.). The Roadrunners impressed with a sixth-place finish at the Dan Talbot Open and are led by Courtney O’Hara, who earlier this year earned M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week honors.
Completing the top-10 are No. 6 Georgia Military, No. 7 College of DuPage (Ill.), No. 8 Suffolk County (N.Y.) CC, No. 9 Abraham Baldwin (Ga.) and No. 10 FIT (N.Y.).
