2023 NCAA Division I Men’s Cross Country All-Academic Teams
NEW ORLEANS – The Men’s Scholar Team of the Year and All-Academic Teams for the 2023 NCAA Division I Cross Country season were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Oklahoma State was named the Men’s Scholar Team of the Year for the 2023 NCAA Division I Cross Country season. The Cowboys, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.164, won the team title at the 2023 NCAA DI Cross Country Championships in Charlottesville, Virginia. It was Oklahoma State’s first national title since 2012, when it capped a run of three titles in four years. This is the third time in program history that the Cowboys have been named the Men’s Scholar Team of the Year for the cross country season (2009 and 2012 are the others).
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
