2021 NCAA Division III Men’s Cross Country All-Academic Teams
NEW ORLEANS – The Men’s Scholar Team of the Year and All-Academic Teams for the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country season were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Pomona-Pitzer was named the Men’s Scholar Team of the Year for the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country season. The Sagehens, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.690, won the team title at the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships in Louisville, Kentucky. This is the second time in the past three years that Pomona-Pitzer has been named Men’s Scholar Team of the Year in cross country.
Overall, there were 137 programs who were named All-Academic Teams for their efforts during the 2021 season. No program had a better cumulative GPA than Stevens Institute of Technology at 3.798.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
