NEW ORLEANS – It’s crunch time in the NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season!
With that known, it’s time to check out the most recent installment of the NJCAA Division III Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Rating Index, which was released on Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

College of DuPage held steady at No. 1 for yet another week. The Chaps added or improved 10 national top-10 marks this past weekend, including national-leading efforts by Timmy Szlak in the 100H (15.71) as well as the 4×800 relay team (8:40.95).
Howard CC leapfrogged Mohawk Valley CC into the No. 2 spot. The Dragons added or improved 12 national top-10 marks this past weekend, including national-leading efforts from Darryl Jeffries in both the 100 (10.80) and 200 (21.98), Stephen Barr in the 800 (1:58.38) and the 4×100 relay team (43.11).
Mineral Area College remained fourth after adding or improving five national top-10 marks this past weekend. The Cardinals saw four of those efforts in the 5000, where Wyatt Elliott is No. 2 at 15:35.48, Kyle Vinyard is No. 4 at 15:55.25, Jacob Arnold is No. 7 at 16:34.84 and Alex Ahrens is No. 10 at 17:09.34.
Rowan-Gloucester CC rounded out the top-5 for the second week in a row.
