NEW ORLEANS – We’re less than three weeks away from the 2021 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, set for May 7-8 in Edison, New Jersey.
This is a perfect time to check out the most recent NJCAA Division III Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Rating Index, released on Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Top-ranked College of DuPage continues to headline the National TFRI. The Chaps hold 25 national top-10 marks, including 12 new or improved efforts from this past weekend alone. Kelly Kibler is a two-event national leader in the 400 (1:03.66) and 800 (2:27.18), while Emily Fetzer clocked a national-leading mark in the 5000 of 19:36.80).
Howard CC is now ranked second after turning in a plethora of national top-10 marks this past weekend. The Dragons hold 16 of said marks, including eight national-efforts. Reigning National Athlete of the Week Cassidy Bunyard is the star performer for Howard CC, notching three No. 1 efforts by herself in the 200 (27.07), high jump (1.66m/5-5¼) and heptathlon (3570).
Mineral Area College dropped one spot to No. 3, while fourth-ranked Rowan-Gloucester CC held steady at No. 4 and Mohawk Valley CC slid one spot from No. 4 to No. 5.
