Cross Country Polls & Rankings

Mineral Area (Mo.) CC moved up to No. 1, a position it occupied three times last year before finishing as runner-up in the national championships. The Cardinals impressed pollsters with its runner-up finish at the H.W. Wright Classic, led by individual runner-up – and current M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week – Brad Ahrens.

College of DuPage (Ill.) dropped to No. 2, while in-state rival – and reigning national champion – Joliet (Ill.) JC remained at No. 3.

Programs from the Midwest claim the next two spots as St. Charles (Mo.) CC remains No. 4 and Harper (Ill.) moves up three places to be No. 5.

Rounding out the top-10 are No. 6 Lorain County (Ohio) CC, No. 7 Brookdale (N.J.) CC, No. 8 RCSJ Gloucester (N.J.), No. 9 Oxford (Ga.) and No. 10 Westmoreland County (Pa.) CC.

The 2022 NJCAA Division III Cross Country Championships are just over four weeks away on Saturday, November 5 at Stanley Park in Westfield, Massachusetts.
