

2023 NJCAA Division III Cross Country Postseason Awards
NEW ORLEANS — Postseason awards for the 2023 NJCAA Division III Cross Country season were handed out on Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following the conclusion of the 2023 NJCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, which were held this past weekend at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama.

Macnider coached Harper (Ill.) to the team title at the 2023 NJCAA Division III Cross Country Championships. Led by fourth-place finisher Albert Szewczyk, the Hawks had all five scorers in the top-19 to score 53 points and win by 44 points. Harper also won the team title at the Region 4 Championships, scoring 30 points to win by 21 points. Mohamed, who hails from Utica, New York, won the individual title at the 2023 NJCAA Division III Cross Country Championships in 26:01.7. He was the leading JUCO athlete in all seven of his races this year, including wins at the Region 3 Cross Country Championships, Mountain Valley Conference Championships, Steven A. Warde Invitational and SUNY Poly Short Course Invitational. Macnider coached Harper (Ill.) to the team title at the 2023 NJCAA Division III Cross Country Championships. Led by individual winner Lilly Alberts, the Hawks had all five scorers in the top-24 to score 54 points and win by 17 points. Harper also won the team title at the Region 4 Championships, scoring 19 points to win by 19 points. Alberts, who hails from Richmond, Illinois, won the individual title at the 2023 NJCAA Division III Cross Country Championships in 18:15.8. She was the leading collegian in all seven of her races this year, including wins at the Region 4 Cross Country Championships, Heartland Invitational, Pioneer Gender Equity Invitational, North Central College Invitational and Rock River Invitational.National Men's Coach of the Year
