

2024 NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll – Week 3
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Milligan (Tenn.) continues as No. 1 in the Week 3 edition of the NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll, which was released on Thursday by the NAIA National Office.

Four teams received first-place votes, with the Buffaloes collecting more than half of those with 11. Milligan finished fourth in the East Carolina Pirate Invitational a week ago.
Remaining at No. 2 is Taylor (Ind.) while increasing its number of first-place votes from five to seven. The Trojans won the Ray Bullock Invitational with 23 points, led by Jaynie Halterman won the individual title in earning M-F Athletic National Athlete of the Week honors for the third time this year.
No. 3 Saint Mary (Kan.) also saw an increase in first-place votes, now gaining two. The Spires were dominant in winning the Brian T. Simpson Invitational with 22 points, led by the 1-2 of twins Reagan and Riley Hiebert.
The Master’s (Calif.) continues at No. 4 and also earned a first-place vote. The Mustangs were runner-up in the The Master’s Invitational, led by Hannah Fredericks, who is undefeated in all three of her races this season.
Moving into the top-5 for the first time this year is defending champion College of Idaho. The Yotes finished fourth in the Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational after earlier winning the Cascade Conference Preview and being runner-up to NCAA DI BYU at the Dr. Thad Scholes Classic.
Completing the top-10 are No. 6 Cumberlands (Ky.), No. 7 Dordt (Iowa), No. 8 Montreat (N.C.), No. 9 Southern Oregon and No. 10 Grace (Ind.).
The 2024 NAIA Cross Country Championships are scheduled to be held Friday, November 22, at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Missouri.
