

2019 NCAA Division III Cross Country All-America Honors
NEW ORLEANS – All-Americans for the 2019 NCAA Division III Cross Country season were named on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Athletes of member institutions who finished in the top-40 of their respective races this past weekend at the 2019 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships in Louisville, Kentucky, earned the distinction.

Team titles went to the Pomona-Pitzer men and the Johns Hopkins women, while Patrick Watson of Stevenson and Parley Hannan of Ithaca won individual titles.

There was a great deal of parity among the ranks as 31 different women’s teams and 28 different men’s teams had at least one All-American on its roster. No team had more than three All-Americans, but those teams that did have three were the national champion Blue Jays and the men’s national runner-up North Central (Ill.) Cardinals.
On a conference level, the NESCAC had a substantial amount of honorees compared to any other league. Athletes from the NESCAC combined for 13 nods, which dwarfed the next-best total of eight from the MIAC and seven from both the SCIAC and the UAA.
