2023 NCAA DIII Men’s Cross Country Regional Rankings – Week 3

NEW ORLEANS – This season keeps getting better.

Here is the newest edition of the NCAA DIII Men’s Cross Country Regional Rankings for the 2023 season, as released on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Regional Rankings are determined subjectively by a single member coach in each respective region. The regional representative is tasked with weighing returning teams’ strength with current season results (if applicable) in determining a rank-order of squad potential. Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible to receive a ranking. Teams with provisional status within the region may be ranked.

Regional Championships Saturday is set for November 11.

East Region

Projected AQ: No. 1 MIT

Next in Line: No. 2 Tufts

Note: There were no changes to the top-5 teams. 

Great Lakes Region

Projected AQ: No. 1 Mount Union

Metro Region

Projected AQ: No. 1 Haverford

Mid-Atlantic Region

Projected AQ: No. 1 Carnegie Mellon

Mideast Region

Notes: Williams and RPI continue to play “Hot Potato” with the No. 1 rank. Now it’s the Ephs time at the top of the Mideast Region following a winning effort at the Purple Valley Classic. RPI withheld its top squad from the Fred Pavlich Invitational, where it finished fourth behind regional foes Middlebury, Amherst and Vassar – each of the three teams behind them in Week 3.

Midwest Region

Projected AQ: No. 1 North Central (Ill.)

Notes: UChicago and Washington (Mo.) both slid up a spot while Central (Iowa) fell two.

Niagara Region

South Region
