

2022 NCAA DIII Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Rating Index – Week 4
NEW ORLEANS – The season is truly picking up!
Here is the newest edition of the NCAA DIII Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Rating Index for the 2022 season, as released on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). No marks from previous seasons are being used, which gives a comprehensive, objective look at the current campaign.

Loras is the new No. 1, as it leapfrogged Washington (Mo.) into the top spot. The Duhawks added or improved three national top-10 marks this past weekend, including the No. 5 mark in the triple jump from Harmony Creasy (12.04m/39-6), the No. 9 mark in the 200 from Alyssa Pfadenhauer at 24.72 and the No. 3 mark from the 4×100 relay team at 47.45. The Bears didn’t slack this past weekend, as they added or improved two national top-10 marks with one in both the 400H from Ava Forman (1:02.28) and triple jump from Alicia Gupte (11.88m/38-11¾).
Johns Hopkins jumped two spots from No. 5 to No. 3 in Week 4. The Blue Jays added or improved three national top-10 marks this past weekend, which included two in the heptathlon (Annie Gutierrez at No. 3 with 4628 points; Victoria Kadiri at No. 7 with 4250 points). Kadiri also surged to No. 2 in the long jump with her sterling effort of 5.94m (19-6).
SUNY Geneseo made the Move of the Week, surging 43 spots between Week 3 and Week 4. The Knights now have three athletes ranked among the top-5 seasonal performers: Kathleen McCarey in the 10,000 at 34:26.95 (No. 2); Gwen Shepardson in the 400H at 1:01.22 (No. 3); and Rachel Hirschkind in the steeplechase at 10:42.73 (No. 4).
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps rounds out the top-5 at No. 5. The Athenas were buoyed by the efforts of Caroline Delvecchio in the 400H, as she is now ranked second at 1:01.21, and Meredith Bloss, who is now ranked fourth in the 10,000 at 34:35.52.
Here are the rest of the top-10 teams in Week 4: No. 6 Nebraska Wesleyan (up two spots), No. 7 George Fox (up seven spots), No. 8 UW-La Crosse (down one spot), No. 9 Wartburg (down five spots) and No. 10 WPI (up five spots).
